
Fudgy Rye Brownies

- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate callets
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup organic rye flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 360ºF. Butter an 8×8 pan and sprinkle with cocoa powder to prevent sticking.
- In a microwave safe bowl or a double boiler, melt the chocolate and the butter. Mix together with a rubber spatula until mixed and melted.
- Add sugar, mix. Stir in the eggs and the remaining ingredients until blended.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow to cool fully before slicing and serving
